Two-Headed Mommy and Other Deep Thoughts

More Calvinisms for your enjoyment:

In the car today...

"Mommy, can you read me Berenstain Bears Visit the Dentist?"

"No, honey, I have to drive. I can't look at the book and at the road at the same time."

"But if you had two heads you could."

At lunch today, during a discussion of having the Holy Spirit inside of us...

"Can the Holy Spirit eat the bread in my tummy?"

Daddy's respone: "Hmm...Calvin, that's a hard question for Daddy to answer."

Mommy's response: "You'll have to ask Pastor D that one at church on Sunday."
(Have fun, D!)

OMG. Zach was JUST looking at the back of a Berenstain Bear book tonight and asking for the dentist one!

I'm glad to know my kid isn't the only one who looks at all of the books listed on the back and asks for each one he doesn't have. Every time! He does it every time!

Wow... only three years old, and he's already coming up with his own renditions of "Can God make a rock so big he can't lift it?" and "How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?" It either makes Calvin sound smart, or those who have asked those questions sound juvenial.
